Action on Elder Abuse
Action on Elder Abuse (AEA) works to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults. We were the first charity to address these problems and are the only charity in the UK and in Ireland working exclusively on the issue today.
Age Concern England
Age Concern supports all people over 50 in the UK, ensuring that they get the most from life. It provides essential services such as day care and information. It also campaigns on issues like age discrimination and pensions, and work to influence public opinion and government policy about older people.

Help the Aged is an international charity fighting to free disadvantaged older people from poverty, isolation and neglect. The Institute for Ageing and Health
While healthy ageing is the aspiration of us all, old age brings increased risk of chronic ill-health, disability and loss of independence. These problems require major investment in inter-disciplinary research if they are to be addressed succesfully. Newcastle University established the Institute for Ageing and Health in 1994 to meet this need. It brings brings together clinical, basic, and social scientists in partnership with colleagues in the National Health Service and older people.
Sheffield Institute for Studies on Ageing
